ABOUT ME.

Good morrow gentle folk. My name is Clive Looker. It is with intense trepidation that I make your internet acquaintance and bid you welcome unto my weblog.

As you can see from the accompanying picture I am now ‘of an age’ - as they say. In my case that age being sixty six years. I consider time has been kind to me and although my advanced years have left me with a silvery thatch, I feel it gives me that . . . . Je ne sais quoi, that . . . . aire de disdinguer, as the French so subtly put it.

MY CREDENTIALS

I have been a part-time freelance writer for many years, writing illustrated article on a variety of subjects for a plethora of magazines in the UK, France and USA: I was also a regular contributor to the humorous topical news radio show The Newshuddlines and to tv’s, The Two Ronnies. It was about this time I wrote and recorded several musings for Radio Kent. During this time I was making regular contributions to the satirical magazine ‘The Lark’

Although retired I still keep my hand in, by making humorous offerings to a local East Sussex magazine called ‘The Entertainer’. However, most of my free time is now spent on my web sites - mentioned above. I recognise the fact I am not perfect, so neither are my sites.
