HH50. DOG POO!
Everyone knows at least one person who allows their dog to foul the public highway or local park, so why not frighten the life out them with this seemingly legal document. With the threat of a £500 fine hanging over their head, it may persuade them to change their ways

Following information proffered to these offices, it is incumbent upon the undersigned to inform the above mention person hereinafter known as ‘The Offender’ that on .. /.. /.... At . . . . . . . am/pm was seen to allow a canine under their jurisdiction to defecate upon the public highway.

Notice is hereby given that it is an offence under the
1923 Highways act - section 5 - subsection (1a) - paragraph iiii, (and addendum 6c to the act in 1985) to allow any canine or feline to knowingly foul any public place that shall be frequented by pedestrians.

In accordance with the act we therefore inform ‘The Offender’ that they are liable to be called to answer for this offence before the local magistrate, where, if found guilty will be liable to a fine not exceeding £500. ( for a first offence)

This hoax consists of a solicitors letter plus divorce papers informing the victim that ‘their other half’ is instigating divorce proceedings.
