Here are two different can labels you can have fun with.
To get the best from this hoax you must use the right paper. I have found a paper with the hint of a shine on it the best. It gives the label a ‘quality’ look.
Once you have printed a label, choose a tin similar in size to a standard baked bean tin. Remove the existing label and cut out the new label. Trim the top and bottom of the new printed label as necessary. Apply a little ‘Prit’ - ‘UHU glue stick’ ‘Tipp-ex glue stick’ or anything similar, to the left hand printed side of the label and a little glue to the unprinted right hand side of the label. Carefully wrap the label round the tin ensuring the right hand side of the label overlaps the left hand side.
There is no reason why you can’t use almost any edible tinned product but I have found a creamed soup, or tinned fruit will sometimes fool the ‘victim’ into thinking the contents are an aphrodisiac even after the tin has been opened. For Pee Soup you can always use Pea soup. And for a real let down, use a tin of baked beans.
WHEN TO USE.
The aphrodisiac label will make a great Christmas or birthday gift, and what about as a Wedding present?
I’m sure a couple who have been married many years might appreciate it, as will someone celebrating their (over the hill) 40th birthday. Finally, you might just take two or three to a party ! But remember the success or failure of these labels depends entirely on your choice of paper on which the label is printed.
